  19. Oh Lakshmi this sounds like liquid raita :) the tadka on the top of beautiful and this is what makes me think of a raita or a light summer yogurt soup. The first photograph of the glistening oil is breathtaking.

(adore the new format to read/print recipes)

  22. What a lovely recipe! This is my detox day (I'm having 2 per week these days) and I think I'll have that for dinner :-). Thanks so much for a wonderful idea!
Lakshmi, I have to say, I found your blog through Pinterest, and I am so impressed - your photographs are absolutely amazing (it's actually really difficult to look at them today, when I can only eat unprocessed veggies ;-) ). I am absolutely in love with your site, and will be following from now on! You've got a new fan :-)

  26. It's a shame that using dairy yoghurt you will essentially negate the benefits of the greens! Studies show that e.g. berries, tea and cocoa lose most of their health benefits if consumed with dairy, because it contains the antinutrient casein.

Doesn't make much sense to combine healthful veggies with something that isn't just junk food but anti-food, that's not detox, that's just "tox".

That is really interesting. Could you point me to the studies so I can check the evidence base

  27. Maija, thanks for the information. I'm not an expert in health food diet, nor I'm propagating one. According to ayurveda, yoghurt is incompatible with sour fruits/citrus, mangoes, melons, nightshades and milk for example. Ayurveda is more forgiving regarding food combining than many modern diet recommendations. It is based on different principles.

It is the first time I hear yoghurt to be called junk food. For whatever reason, it is provocative :-)!

  28. Green smoothies are one of my favorite things to make. Whenever I make a smoothie I add spinach. I love that you can't taste it. :) Martin even likes them.

    2) Windows 7 will try to find out the compatibility problems related to the application and gives you couple
of options when it is finished. What is best about Driver detector is that is has a variety of drivers that best
suit your computer or laptop brand. Again you can switch the order of the files and skip to others from the Play To control.
